The GG2020 Partner Institutions

The GG2020 program relied on the commitment and support of strong partner institutions. The network of GG2020 partners consisted of leading academic institutions and think tanks from China, Germany and the United States. The partner institutions also acted as hosts of the GG2020 session that took place in their respective country.

The Global Public Policy Institute (GPPi) is an independent think tank based in Berlin and Geneva. The Brookings Institution is a non-profit public policy organization based in Washington, D.C. The Brookings Institution conducts high-quality, independent research and, based on that research, provides innovative and practical recommendations.

Fudan University, located in Shanghai, is one of the oldest, most prestigious and most selective universities in the People's Republic of China. Its institutional predecessor was founded in 1905, shortly before the end of China's imperial Qing dynasty.

The Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences is China’s oldest institution for the humanities and social sciences and is the largest one outside the capital of Beijing. SASS is a leading think-tank and distinguished academic institution in China.
