Thomas Hale

Thomas Hale is a PhD candidate in the Department of Politics at Princeton University. His research focuses on the governance of transnational problems such as climate change and financial regulation. He has written on the role of private actors in global governance, the accountability of international organizations, East Asian regionalism, innovative governance mechanisms, and transnational democracy. He holds a masters degree in Global Politics from the London School of Economics and an AB in public policy from Princeton’s Woodrow Wilson School. Hale has studied and worked in Argentina, China,
and Europe, and currently lives in New York City.
