Rainer Breul

Rainer Breul is an advisor on European affairs and global issues in the Policy Planning Staff of the German Foreign Office in Berlin. Before joining the Foreign Office, he worked as a research assistant at the University of Constance, the United Nations General Secretariat and the German Bundestag. From 2006-2009 he was political counselor at the Permanent Representation of Germany to the EU dealing with the EU’s Common Foreign and Security Policy. He studied politics and management with a major in international organizations and European integration at the University of Konstanz, the University of Warwick
and the IEP Aix-en-Provence.
